Feliz Ano Nuevo! Here is your reading list with highlights of the previous year and articles, music, books, and feelings to help you ease into 2018.
Articles to slide you into the New Year
The Top Home Trends for 2018 || I rent, and can't really tear my kitchen apart like I want too, but I will add more prints to my currently minimal living spaces.
The Power of Letting Go || Have you ever wanted to move on from something? Something toxic, something sad, something dangerous? “The sooner you give up feeling loss, the sooner you will have nothing to lose.”
Things to Remember
You can find balance in your mistakes || What even is balance? It literally is different for everyone. It is different in every situation.... even in your mistakes. Remember, you're doing the best you can.
It Was You || There are times, sometimes lifetimes when you will feel that you are underneath people. Underneath them professionally, personally, and emotionally. But here's the thing, you are not and all the good in your life, all the milestones, all the achievements you did that. You.
Books to Read in 2018
The Sun and Her Flowers || In her follow up book of poetry Rupi Kaur hits all the right literary buttons, entices the readers with her hauntingly beautiful words, and lets face it....gets people to read poetry. (Buy Here)

Do in 2018
Solo Travel || Have you ever been alone anywhere? It you might be surprise what you find out about yourself, a place, new people. I love solo travel, it gives me an opportunity to grow in ways I didn't realize I needed to grow.
Infinity Mirrors || This past year Infinity Mirrors captured the DC Spring. A time that is usually monopolized by the Cherry Trees this year it was the brilliant work of Japans Yayoi Kusama that captivated our hearts. You can currently catch Infinity Mirrors in Toronto.
Linus Dutch Bike || Some of my favorite advice last year was when my medium, yes my medium, told me to get a cute bike. That it would enrich my life. She was right, although I had a road bike I needed a cute bike, one that I rode for leisure, to get to places I wanted to go....not needed to go. It was honestly one of the best investments in me I've ever made.
A dry brush || To be honest I don't use this brush to dry brush. I use it in the shower. It's honestly the best scrub I've used on a daily basis. It leaves my skin super clean and very soft.
Slip On Shoes || There is nothing I love more than a good pair of shoes. And in late 2017 slip on shoes became my jam. My space Jam. They are cozy, easy and simply chic!
The Youth Dew || Wearing a serum should be something all women with aging skin should weave into their daily routine. Since I started using serums this past year my skin is better, not just better looking but better. It's smooth and clean, and relaxed.
Lady Bird || Relationships between mothers and daughters are hard. Unless yours is super in which case still watch this movie. However, the way that Greta Grewig did such a fantastic job with this fill, it his the heart strings just right and is so beautifully made it's like an ode to your heart. Go watch this movie.
Gravity Falls || After binge watching 6 season of Game of Thrones....lets just say I needed mindless, entertaining and relaxing. And this smart, witty, and hilarious cartoon did exactly that. You can watch it on Hulu and I promise you it's worth it.
Mystery of Love || I still haven't gotten a chance to watch Call Me By Your Name, but I'm in love with it's theme song Mystery of Love by Sufjan Stevens. This exquisite song stops you in your tracks and demands to be heard. It's perfect.
Pray to God || A genius collaboration is a powerful one. And this one between Calvin Harris and Haim is exactly the kind of collaboration that gets me pumped for long runs...or on a Soul Cycle bike. I'm obsessed.
Cheers my friends, feliz ano nuevo.
