Kerra Michele || I first heard of BUREAU the way I hear everything now a days....Instagram. I mean a beautifully decorated work space designated for Lady Bosses? Yes, please. Then I heard Kerra talk about Bureau. Talk about her story, her perseverance, and gumption... to be honest it left me a little inspired. With Lady Boss work spaces on the rise it's no surprise that Kerra's and Bureau's success has been what it has been.
Almila Kakinc-Dodd || When I initially met Almila the creative community in DC wasn't what it is yet. From that time I've seen this intelligent woman become a loved figured in the Well Living Community. Almila's inspired holistic lifestyle is stunning, honest, and sharp. I couldn't be more excited about her BOOK being release in 2018!
Johanna Hellrigl || "When you do something you love it's not work." This is particularly true of Johanna. Having had her fare a couple of events this summer I can absolutely attest that this CHEF is the real deal. Her food is beautiful, and I don't just mean they look beautiful they taste beautiful too. Her monthly Pop Up Dinner series is quickly become a DC Staple and recently her 3 night dinner series Pop Up was a hit. I'm excited to see this lady flourish further in the DC Food Scene.
Alisha Ramos || What is the luckiest thing that can happen to you when you have plans on a Friday night? Those plans fall through obvi! Enter Alisha Ramos the brain behind Girls Night In (GNI.) This weekly newsletter took DC and the Country by storm this past year and is has quickly become a Friday staple for EVERYONE I know. (I'm looking at you Caroline.) Back to Alisha, this lady is carefully curating reads, jobs, uproarious gifs and getting women to read books that are crucial to the times we live in. I'm excited to see GNI grow and reach more and more women.
Carlene Thomas ||"Her democratic approach to sharing nutrition with everyone in a truly approachable way is one that we are totally on board with." I've been following Carlene since the dawn of time.... or social media. I'm inspired daily by her gorgeous recipes and phenomenal photos. Her work in the health and wellness space is admirable and inspiring. She is pioneer in the mid-atlantic well living scene and along with her husband are creating content that is "simple and complex"... just the way everything should be. This past Fall MindBodyGreen featured Carlene as one of their Next Great Nutritionist and rightfully so, can't wait to see what she and her husband Chris are cooking up for 2018.
Hope you get to know them, follow them, get inspired by them.
